As of March 16, 2024, all drones flown outdoors are required to comply with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s Remote ID laws. The good news is there are two options to bring your RubiQ drones into compliance:
- Order a remote ID broadcast module to retrofit your drones.
- Apply for a FRIA (FAA-recognized identification areas) to keep flying your drones remote-ID-free.
As you’re exploring which option makes sense for you, we’ve put together a blog with our recommendation for the best remote ID module and step-by-step instructions for submitting your FRIA application. Learn more by reading Remote ID and What It Means for Drone Educators and Drones in Schools.
